Gennadi · Rhodes · Greece

Stay where Rhodes goes quiet.

Two houses in Gennadi, at the south end of the island, an hour past the busy coast. Three of us run them: our mother, my brother and me. You book with us, not with a call centre.

Booking direct

Same houses, fewer people in between.

01

No booking fee

Write to us and you pay for the house, not for the platform that introduced us.

02

A person, not a queue

Questions about the beach, a late flight, a cot for the baby: one message, usually answered the same day.

03

We live here

Both houses are ours and always have been. Nothing is managed remotely by an agency in another city.

The houses

Two places to stay, both in the village.

Casa Maritina

A whole house to yourselves: three bedrooms, a kitchen you will actually cook in, and your own walled yard with lemon and orange trees, for the hours when nobody wants to be on the beach.

Where you are

Gennadi, at the far south of the island.

A long dark-pebble beach, tamarisk trees for shade, a village that still has more bakeries than bars. Lindos and the old town are an easy drive when you want them, and far away when you do not.

Good to know

The practical answers, before you have to ask.

Arriving

Check in from 3pm, out by 11am. Late flights are normal here, so tell us your arrival time and we will wait up.

Getting here

About an hour and ten from the airport by car. There is a bus down the east coast, but a car makes the south of the island much easier.

Included

Linen, towels, wifi, air conditioning and the final clean. Parking is free on the street outside. No resort fees and no surprises at the door.

Season

Busiest from June to September. May and October are quieter, cheaper, and still warm enough to swim.

Beyond the summer

Long stays and trade bookings.

Renting for a season or a year

Out of high season we rent by the month to people working on the island, and we hold longer leases on some of what we own. Tell us the dates and how many of you there are, and we will tell you honestly what is free.

Tour operators and agencies

We work with operators and agencies and we are open to allocation for the coming seasons. Licensed, insured, invoiced properly, and the same three people answer the phone every time.

Fixes what breaks before you notice it broke, and handles everything the properties need on the island.
